A DEEP DIVE INTO YOUR YOGA PRACTICE
Strong + Flexible Hips
with Ramsay and Liz
Sunday, March 22, 2:30-4:30pm
The right mix of building strength and increasing flexibility in the hips not only helps us in our yoga and movement practices but also in our daily life. Walking, balancing, getting up and down, sitting on the floor, playing sports or just being comfortable in your body. We’ll explore the difference between creating strength and flexibility in this area by practicing yoga poses and functional movement exercises that feature active vs. passive ranges of motion.
All of it in order to create greater ease of movement in the hips.
Suitable for all levels. In studio and virtual with recording. Drop in for $45.

Chakra Flow
with Ori
Sunday, March 29, 3-4:30pm, $35
What are the chakras? Where are they found in your body? How can we connect to them while we move through asanas? How does the flow of energy contribute to the flow of movement on our mat? This will be a slow flow with a focus on the chakras. We will use breathing exercises and bandhas (muscular locks) to stimulate different energy centers in your body from flowing freely. One hour of flowing with the energies of our breath and body. Half hour of observing the energies of the chakras flow as we hold stillness in a yin practice of long holds, savasana and meditation.
Ayurveda Spring Community Cleanse

Cleanse runs through 4/17
Just when it seems winter will never end...
Ayurveda Spring Community Cleanse is around the corner!
By the end of winter, heaviness, sluggishness, and congestion builds up.
Set aside time to reset your diet and health habits for better digestion, circulation and energy.
OTM's Loren Winters, AHC will guide you through a five day Ayurvedic cleanse using a program of recipes and routines curated for the cleanse during spring seasonal transition. Learn how to apply the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda to everyday life.
Why do an Ayurvedic Cleanse?
According to Ayurveda, India's holistic health system, overall health depends on a delicate balance between mind, body, spirit, and environment. A key preventative health routine is to follow a cleanse program at the seasonal junctures between winter-spring and then summer-fall. As changes occur in the natural environment, a week or so is taken for special diet and nurturing routines to restore balance in mind and body. Spring is Kapha season; the paired energies of the earth and water elements are at work! As earth softens and ice melts, Kapha accumulates and can manifest as feeling heavy, sluggish, and congested. It's time to lighten up! Cleansing aids the natural process of clearing excess Kapha, revives digestion, and both grounds and brightens the mind/body.
Must purchase: The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook by Kate O'Donnell - we will use Kate's recipes for kitchari and spring dishes.
