Getting Ready For Virtual Yoga

Yogis everywhere are enjoying the ease of virtual yoga. No more rushing to yoga class! We will send you the zoom link to join about 30 mins before class begins. But don't worry, even if you sign up 5 minutes before class, we will get you the link. Here are a few other tips to make it the best experience it can be...


1. Find a quiet, uncluttered spot away from the mayhem. If your home is quiet or if you have a strong ability to drown out distractions, you can probably set up anywhere. But most of us struggle with distraction (which is why we need yoga!) so finding and setting up a little oasis for yourself within your home is important.


2. Have your yoga props ready, including a towel or blanket.


3. Make sure your device for watching/listening to class is fully charged.


4. Use a wireless headset, like AirPods, if you find you might be distracted by noise in your home..


5. Your playlist on a second device. Since your microphone will be muted during the class, feel free to play your favorite music if the mood hits you. Just make sure you don't turn it up too loud so you can hear us.


6. If you seek the heat, set up a space heater and/or humidifier in your yoga space at home. The smaller the space, the more you will feel the heat and humidity. But, remember to turn them off after practice!


7. Log on 5 minutes early and sit on your mat in quiet until class begins.. or join in the pre-class chat.
