Vanessa Mayer is a skilled and experienced massage therapist who has been in private practice for seven years. Vanessa received her initial massage training in 2004 at the Green Mountain Institute for Integrative Bodywork, attending their intensive four-month program on the southern coast of Portugal.
She has since participated in workshops on Deep Tissue, Sports and Pregnancy Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Polarity and Oncology Massage. She enjoys working with companies to provide on-site massage as a wellness benefit. While living in Burlington, Vermont she provided on-site chair massage to companies such as Seventh Generation, Champlain College, General Dynamics and Goodrich.
Ever mindful of the belief that massage is an effective tool in unlocking and releasing built-up physical and emotional tensions, her style combines long, flowing, integrative strokes with more focused and deeper work on specic areas of tension. She hopes to create a space in which each client feels safe, comfortable and supported.
Beyond massage, Vanessa's interests include yoga, anatomy, cooking, tea preparation, juicing, cycling, and travel—most memorably to Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Bali.
Vanessa is available by appointment on Mondays before 4pm, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
To book an appointment with Vanessa, e-mail her at email@example.com or call/text her at 781-572-4465.
