After taking a long walk in the morning with one of my favorite people, I was ready to call it a day and hunker down at home, finish up some work and doing some general slothing around. Not able to trust myself to do yoga at home in my current mood, I did drag myself to class, feeling rather reluctant. Here is the thing though, it actually energized me. I don’t know whether is was the instructors ability to engage her class, or my willingness to just get over myself, but it was a great class. Instead of staying at home and worrying about the things I was supposed to do, I actually got them done after class. Apparently yoga has the ability to kick my inner sloth to the curb. Good to know.
